Spanish airline Iberia has launched its flights to Madeira, taking passengers up to three times weekly from Madrid, boosting accessibility to the resort. Its franchise partner Iberia Regional Air Nostrum will also fly to Madeira this summer. Together, they will be offering some 12,000 seats – great news for British owners looking for holiday renters at their Madeiran home.

Iberia Regional Air Nostrum will also be providing 3,500 seats this summer on three weekly Bilbao-Madeira flights.

Iberia has been operating routes to Portugal since 1939 and is now offering routes throughout the year to Lisbon and Oporto and summer flights to Faro and Funchal – over 700,000 seats in all this year, up 8% on 2014.
