Thomson and First Choice have announced they will be operating a Thomson Airways 787 Dreamliner to Orlando from Stansted. The new routes will go on sale on Thursday 23 April 23 and will begin next summer.

JetBlue has announced that it will be offering nonstop flights from New York’s state capital of Albany to Florida, beginning 10 December, heading to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale

Allegiant Air will add its ninth route from Fort Lauderdale today , a new nonstop service to Indianapolis. It is one of five new routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport this year. Steve Belleme, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood’s business development manager, said: “It opens up a lot of travel opportunities for people to visit South Florida. Anytime you can increase passenger traffic domestically it’s a win.”
